We beg to inform you that when the licence was
obtained to ship the above Tin from Hongkong to New York,
the consignees were given as "American Metal Company".
On receipt of Bills of Lading in this Country (which have
now been passed to our buyers

Hessrs. H. R. Merton and
Company, Limited) we found that the consignees are stated
as "American Metal Products and Company". This is appar-
ently a clerical error either on the part of our Hongkong
House of the Governor of Hongkong, and in order that the
material may be delivered to the correct consignees we
shall be glad if you will cable the Consul General at
der Secretary of State,
