I have the honour to report that I am informod
by the Collector of Customs here that 200 slabs of
tim which arriv:d at this port on the Japanese
steamer "TENYO MARU", were consigned on the manifest
to order simply and not to the Consulate; and that on application of F. N. Xewall and Company the tim
wwa (@liv∙red to ther. These slabs were shipped at
Hongkong on the 13th of April.
In order to save time I ar 'sanding a copy of tais
despatch to Ria Excellency, the Governor of Hong Kon).
