Concession, disastrous results may ensue.
Your petitioners therefore humbly pray that Your
Excellency may be pleased to direct His Britannic
Majesty's Consul-General at Canton te order the
removal from the British Concession known as the
Shameen at Canton of all persons of enemy nationality
and to prohibit the return of such persons during
the pendency of the present war. And your petition-
ere will ever pray etc.
