I am directed by Secretary Sir E. Grey to trans-
mit to you herewith with reference to previous corres-
pondence on the subject of trading with the enemy in
China, a copy of a letter which has been received
in regard to the firm of Messrs Andrews Von Fischerz
and George Limited of Shanghai,
As the Company in question appears to have been
incorporated as a British Company under Hongkong laws
Sir E. Grey would be glad to know if Mr. Secretary
Bonar Law is in possession of any information in re-
gard to them.
A copy of the reply which has been returned to
Messrs Cox, McEuen and Company is enclosed.
