Hesurs. Morris & Macdonald to the Colonial Government
for a re-decision of the matter. But it would
perhaps not be right to do this without giving Mrs.
Jane Ross and her advisers an opportunity of replying
to the allegations made against her, and we accordingly
apply to the Secretary of State for instructions 28
to the course we should now take in the matter.
3. I may add that we have not yet been
informed of the amount of the pension payable.
