Gentlemen,
I have the honour to acknowledge the receipt
of your letter in H/7327 of the 11th instant, and in
reply to state my willingness to proceed to interview
candidates as desired at Edinburgh, The North British
Station Hotel at 2,30 p.m. on Tuesday January 26 th
and Dublin, The Granville Hotel, Upper Sackville
Street, at 11.30. a.m. on Friday Janeury 29 th, I
should be obliged if you will kindly send me a copy
of the new Agreements of service when sending other
papera.
As you will see, Gentlemen, on reference to
417M/Medical, I requested permission to retire on
pension, and I respectfully request that in the
event of the Hong Kong Government calling on me to
refund the difference between "leave payand pension"
that full pay be granted for such time as I am
engaged in travelling and interviewing candidates
