With reference to your letter No 46210 of the 27th November last, authorising us to engage seven Constables for the Police Force in Hong Kong, I have the honour to inform you that we have arranged for Mr. Collett, the Chief Detective Inspector, Hong Kong, to interview candidates for these posts in Edinburgh

and Dublin.
