With reference to your letter of the 21st ultimo, .27443/15 relative to the disposal of German Munitions
of War in store at Hong-Kong, I an commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralt to acquaint you that they
would be glad if the Secretary of State would be so good as
to request the Governor of Hong-Kong to ship to England,
at the first convenient opportunity, the 800 Rounds of
Mauser Rifle Cartridges contained in a metal-lined case.
2. My Lords would suggest, for the consideration
of the Secretar of State for the Colonies, that if the
remainder f these munitions of war are not required
by the War Office they should be destroyed.
