With reference to your letter of the 15th instant, No.7322/15., forwarding a copy of a telegram received from the Governor of Hong Kong relative to the shipment of Antimony to New York, I am commanded by My Lords Commissioners of the Admiralty to acquaint you, for
the information of the Secretary of State for the Colonies
that they consider that, if the Governor of Hong Kong can
establish any connection between the Krupp Company and these consignment of antimony, they should certainly be
scized as absolute contraband and submitted to the decision
of the Prize Court.
It is considered that proof of any direct
purchase on the part of known agents of Messrs Krupp would
be very material evidence.
