The Director of Military Intelligence

presents his compliments to the Under Secretary of

State for the Colonies and begs to inform him

that he learns that, in Colonial Office Secret letter

No. 2944 of the 26th ult., is included, under cover

of a despatch from the Governor of Hong Kong, the

confession of a certain DOUWES DECKER OF JAVA. AB

all information which relates to German and Indian

gedition in the Far East is of considerable interest

to the War Office, Major General Maodonogh would

be grateful if Sir John Anderson would be kind enough

to give instructions that 2 copies of this and similar letters may be forwarded to this office.

is presumed that such letters are sent to the

Admiralty which is also concerned.
