The Standard Oil Company and Asiatic Petroleum
Company have built large storage Tanks. Suitable isolated sites have been selected and the most modern steel Tanks erected and grouped.
All Oil Fuel coming into this Colony goes to these
two storages, after being tested. This also applies to all Admiral- -ty Fuel.
The Regulations framed to govern the landing, storage
and transhipment of Oil Fuel, are strictly enforced.
I do not consider any further action is required
in this Port.
