The following telegram has been received from the
Secretary of State for the Colonies:-
August 28th. My telegram of 26th June Proclamation
relating to Trading with the Emery in China, etc.
It has
been decided that delivery to enemy firms of goods sold to
them must be completed by the following dates:-
1. In case of poods which are already in stock in
China not later than August 25th.
2. Goods which have not yet arrived but have left
the United Kingdom prior to June 25th not later than 10 days
after arrival of cargo in port of dischar-e in China.
3. Goods shiped after June 25th: but handed to
inland carrier for shipment before July 26th not later
than 26th September. After the above mentioned dates
delivery of goods to enemy firms in China will not be
permitted; goods from British ports oversea will be treat-
ed in the same manner,
Would be gled if notification may be issued in
accordance with the above.
Repeat to Hondong and Singapore.
