kanila, August 26, 1915.
In reply to your despatch of the 7th.instant,
I have the honour to inform you that Boehm and Vehdo are on the
American schooner "Henry S.' which left here on July 14th. ostenék
-bly for Fontianak, Dutch Bomeo. The suspicious circunaotozices
attending this vessel have been reported to the Amiral (in detail).
and also to the Intelligenon officer at Fion,kong-
After endeavouring to dear with 167 cases of
firearms (?rifles and revolvers) and aamunition from German staan-
-ers here ostensibly to. Shanghai, the "Henry S." had to leave with.
only rifles 5 revolvers and 4,507 rounds of amunition for supposed to be personal property of Tahie and Boehra. I have no
knowledge of my scheme to secure aria in the Dutch East Indies, but the presence on board of an educatel Indian who probably arrived here on the same utemer au the two Germus aug esta some
nction involving his use as an interpreter.
I have no news of Herz and Scholz; nor did any
-thing transpire during the short stay of Dr. Cook and Brooks to throw doubt on his alleged intention to p to India in order to
climb kt. Everest.
His excellengy
The Governor of nongkong,

I have etc.. (sd.) Thomas Harrington,
Acting British Consul-General.
