To beg to inform you that
Mr. Salvador M. Cavero,
a friend of our Bank, and until now Secretary to the Peruvian Legation in Berlin, has been appointed Peruvian Consul to Hongkong,
and sails tomorrow for Hongkong.
As your Branch in Hongkong has been closed on
account of the war with England, we have permitted ourselves to introduce Kr. Cavero to you and request you to give him a friendly
reception.
We should be under an obligation to you, should
the gentleman recommended to you, approach you, if you would stand
by him in word and deed (relly advice and deed).
