Referring to Mr. Harcourt's telegram of the 6th.

April and my reply of the 26th. April, en clair versions of which are enclosed, I have the honour to state that, as it was uncertain whether the firm of Messrs. Berblinger and Company would prove to be solvent, Mosers. Lowe, Bingham and Matthews, the Liquidators, were able to pay a draft for £112. 11. 2 in respect of five cases of goods shipped by Messrs. Welti and Son.

The goods in question were recently sold and

the draft was met in full on the 18th. June.
