Referring to Mr. Harcourt's Despatch No .. 113
of the 30th. April, and previous correspondence regarding the
retirement of Mr. G. G. Burnett, I have the honour to forward
two pension forms for transmission to the Crown Agents and to Mr.
Burnett respectively.

With regard to paragraph 19 of the form the Widows and Orphans Pension contribution has been based upon the pension granted, but Mr. Burnett should be notified that he is at liberty to continue to contribute upon the basis of his former salary, in which event the prospective Widow's and Orphans'
pension is considerably increased. The annual contribution based on salary would amount to £15 8 3/8 to the dollar.
