Three rounds were fired at the first line of tarelo,
three at the second and four at the third by each man, the ren firing alternately and spotting each other's
shots.
As, howover, It rained : 11 day, there was very little Gust to assist in spotting the slots; and many of the ren who did not bring raincoats got wet through and covered with mud from lying on the soft ground; ich fact was larly responsible for the poor turn out at the collec-
-tive Plel1 Firing on the folleming day.
Under the circumstances, however, the number of hits rade was very satisfactory, the highest percentage made by one pair being 40 of the nurber of rounds fired; and the
average for the hole 25%,
The scheme
On the day following Wonday the 9th November collective Field Firing was carried out at Lai Chi Kok.
