Terms of Lease.
(a). Term of lease 75 years.
(b). Premium, nil.
(c). Crown Rent $1.00 per annum,

(d). In the event of the area being used for any other purpose than
that of a public dispensary, the whole area and any buildings there- -on to revert to Government unconditionally.
(●). The design of any buildings erected on the lot to be subject to the
approval of the Director of Public Works.
(f). The lease to be in the name of the Hon. Secretary for Chinese
Affairs.
(g). The lessee to pay into the Colonial Treasury, when called upon to
do so, the sum of $25.00 for boundary stones which will be supplied and fixed by the Director of Public Works.
(h). the lessee to pay to the Land Officer, when called upon to do so,
the sum of £30.00 for the Crown lease..
(i). The Crow lease to contain a proviso that the lessee shall have no claim to any access to the sea nor to any compensation in the event of any reclamation being made on the seaward side of the lot, and also a clause reserving to the Government the power to reclaim the foreshore whenever it thinks fit and without consulting the
lessee.
(j). In the event of the lot being resumed for public purposes, compensa
-tion shall be paid for the buildings only.
(k). The exact boundaries of the lot to be determined before the issue
of the Crown lease.
