I have the honour to forward and recommend for

your favourable consideration an application from Mr. A. J. Reed the Accountant and Mr. H. Dixon the Superintendent of the Money Order Department of this office for some allowance from the Imperial Post Office for work done on behalf of the British Postal Agencies in China. These officers salaries are £360 to 2450 they have to do overtime, and any allowance would of course be given
