As soon as the virtuous and enthusiastic Mahomed and heard the news of the Holy War, they subscribed five lace of Dolları and handed that money to the Ottoman Consul in Washington. By so doing they have participated in the Holy War according to God's Commandment (which reads as follows):- "Fight or do your best with your wealth and life in the way of God". Likewise our friends in Transvaal informed us that they collected a considerable sum of money there, but it is probable that the ill-natured British people might have stopped its remittance. The people of Baluchis- -tan have also got up, and in the near future the Afghans will also make an attack on the British people and slaughter them indis-
-criminately.
Persian tribes, in large numbers, have prepared themselves for the Holy War. They are headed by the priests and other prominent men of the school of theology. All the hills and deserts are re- -choing with the triumphal cries of "God is great", "God is great" Now the disbelieving Englishmen and Russians are being killed everywhere. Auspicious tidings of the Islamic victories are delight -ing the hearts. How Islam is flourishing.
B. MAHLY COURAGE.
One morning in this week when we were going to office, we received an auspicious news of the brutal slaughter of the British people, which served as a good breakfast. The particulars are as follows:- ▲ lion-hearted Indian Mahomedan Sepoy, whom British people had forcibly brought to Egypt to kill the Mahomedens there, assaulted the British Commander-in-Chief in Egypt named Maxwell with a pistol. The two Aides-de-Camp of Maxwell were killed on the spot. But it is not definitely known whether Maxwell, a dog, has been wounded or not. This news has filled every particle of pur
body with joy.
