I regret to have to confirm my telegram of the 12th. April, 1915, in which I reported the death of P. S. Roland Adlington which took place at the Government Civil Hospital on the 11th. April.

2.

I now have the honour to transmit a copy of

the report of the Superintendent, Government Civil Hospital, from which it will be seen that P. S. Adlington's death was due to

heart failure brought on through alcoholism.

3.

The estate will be administered by the Captain

Superintendent of Police and any effects will be sent to his

father in due course through the Crown Agenta. The address of his
