With reference to your confidential despatch of 11th December affidavit of Captain of HM.Ship "Triumph" shows that "Ferd Laeisz" is joint capture of "Dupleix" and "Triumph". French Consul-General agrees. He is preparing dossier but will call attention to the above. In opinion of Proper Officer of Court vessel should be dealt with in same way as "Senagam- bia* namely by Prize Court here under Article No.3 of the Convention. Would be glad to receive telegraphic instructions.
