My telegram of 11th November temporary commissions War Office states that in two cases gentlemen selected by a Colonial Government have been found to be quite unfit medically on examination by Central Board. It is of great importance that local medical examination should be sufficiently strict to asure confirmation in this country. In future selection should be confined to gentlemen between approximately age of 25 and 35 who have had previous military or police experience. Question of rank of applicant will be decided by Army Council
in future.
