GOVERNMENT HOUSE,
28th January, 1915.
I have the honour to inform you that have had under consideration the question of recognizing in some tangible way the work done by Dr. Eusebio onorato d'Aquino, Higher Gredo Clerk in the Treasury, who completed the precedented period of fifty years service on the lot of October last.
2.
During the whole of this period r. d'Aquino has,
so far as the records show, discharged his duties with diligence and fidelity to the entire satisfaction of the Heads of the Department. In the year 1911 he was made a Companion of the Imperial Service Order, and I now recommend that he should be granted a bonus of 2500, being $100 for each ten years of his service, and also some form of present, such as a clock, with suitable inscription.
3.
I feel sure that such recognition by the Govern- ment of the exceptional services rendered by r. d'Aquino would be much appreciated by the Portuguese Community.
I have the honour to be,
şir,
Your most obedient,
humble servant,
Roma
Governor,&c.
