I have the honour to transmit to you the accompanying copy of two letters which have been received from Messrs Wade Solicitors Tetley Wade and Scott, relative to an application for the grant of a special licence for B. Reif, of the firm of Bume and Reif, to trade in Hong Kong.
B. Reif's position is explained in the letter of the 27th ultimo, and it will be seen from the enclosure to the letter of the 28th ultimo that he has been granted a licence by the Secretary of State for Home...
