been since fulfilled.
I appeal that Mr Secretary Harcourt may now see his way to
sanction the second and final instalment of the £120 per annum
maximum pensionable personal allowance, to be continued until such
time as promotion to a post carrying a salary of at least equal
value makes its continuance no longer necessary.
