Sir,
I have the honour to enclose a letter from the Colonial Secretary, Hong Kong,
in which he deals with my claim to travel Earned Leave Pay while travelling through the Federated Malay States brilliantly.
I had discussed this subject semi-officially with Mr. R. W. Robinson, and have no doubt that the matter was forwarded to Hong Kong. But I have evidently failed to express my claim clearly.
I have therefore repeated it here.
Yearly leave pay is drawn at the rate applicable to the place where leave is spent.
