I do not seek any whitewashing, but I do ask for Justice and truth, the traditions of which we as a nation still boast.

In conclusion I respectfully submit that, I have succeeded in making the best of a series of muddies re- lating to works of magnitude, in which the Government of Hongkong were involved owing to the methods of Mr. Chatham, and I strongly resent being blamed, slandered and libelled with the hope of covering such matters.
