I have to acknowledge the receipt of your letters

of the 24th ult: and the 5th inst:

2.

I beg respectfully to point out that, my claim

for exceptional treatment and special consideration both

as regards salary and pension, is not based on the simple

fact that I have been invalided from the service, but is

founded upon the causes of the breakdown of my health

viz:- over pressure of work, an excessively long stay in

the Tropics without a break, and the refusal to grant me

leave of absence when the state of my health urgently

required it.

I am,

Sir,

Your obedient servant,

AG Fisher.

To

The Under Secretary of State,

Colonial Office,

London, S.W.
