Consequence the 3 Cases Nos 82, 887, 86 by the Customs Authorities at Hong Kong allowed to be returned - our client, the original sender, states that this shipment was recalled prior to the arrival at Hong Kong, and as soon as he found that importation into China was forbidden, a circumstance that he did not know of at the time of shipment, and that he incurred the expense of telegraphing to stop the goods before the steamer's arrival at Hong Kong so that there could be immediate release. The cases were destined as per Bill of Lading for transit through to Amoy & therefore should not, in his opinion, have been seized.

We respectfully submit this for your consideration & under the circumstances beg for the release of said three Cases Nos 82, 807, 86, so that they can be brought back to London.
