continued, the appointment will cease at the end of the mid three years and you will be given a free passage back to ingland provided that your work and conduot have been satisfactory. if it is continued you will be placed on the pensionable establishment but your clain to a passage back to singland will bapse. When placed on the pensionable establishment
3220 you will receive salary at the rate of 230 a year, and your service during the three years of probation will count as service for purposes of leave and pensios.
The rules as to these subjects are as stated in the
print Castern No.121. You will note that the rule
as to vacation leave does not apply to officers attached to an educational institution. The special
rules as to the leave of auch officers are shown in
paragraph 5 of the print.
4. It is also to be understood that your
services will be amilable for any duties upon which
the Governor, in the interest of the public service,
may think it desiraule to employ you; and that you
may be required to taaon in any school in the Colony.
Subject to the permission of the Director of
ducation you may undertale private tuition.
5. lt will be necessary for you to express
your acceptance of the conditions stated in this letter before your selection can be completed. In
other respects you will be subject to the General
Urders issued from time to time by the colonial Government and to the colonial Regulations in force
