rising after three years' service to £130
per annum. For purposes of payments in the
Colony salaries fired in sterling are com-
verted into dollars as to 80% at the rate
of 1894 and as to 20% at a rate fixed by
the Government and based on the average
exchange value of the dollar during the
month ending on the 15th day of the month
for which salary is to be paid.
