Dear Sir,
25th May, 1914.
TO APPLICATION of Mr. LANCELOT FORSTER, B.d.,
for the Post of MASTER IF EDUCATION DEPARTMENT in HONG KONG.
In answer to your letter of the 21st instant, I have pleasure in commending Mr. Forster as one of the best Teachers in the service of this Committee. He has been for many years First Assistant Master at Christ Church Senior Mixed School and his work has always given evidence of the highest zeal and attention to duty. His teaching is thoroughly up-to-date and methodical, and he commands children easily and pleasantly.
He is a man of gentlemanly appearance and address and exerts an excellent influence in his school. His
pupils who come forward in Junior Scholarship Examinations always do exceedingly well.
I RA,
Yours faithfully,
Fred W. Richardson
