4, MOUNTJOY SQUARE,

DUBLIN,

July 14th, 1911.

Miss Florence Skinner was Principal of the Kinder- garten of the Rutland High School for Girls, Dublin, of which I am one of the managing committee. She has been in that position for the past five years. During that period had many opportunities of meeting her personally, and of observing her methods of teaching.

In my opinion Miss Skinner, both in her personal influence, her quiet, kind, yet impressive manner with the children, and in her thorough mastery both of the science and art of the branch of her profession she has devoted herself to, is exceptionally gifted for her work.

The children under her care were always happy, and made excellent progress.

We regret very much having to part with Miss Skinner.

I wish her every success, and would consider

the school fortunate that secured her services.
