Miss Ethel P. Gilbert has been second English Mistress
in my school since September 1908, and has taught History, Litera-
ture, Recitation, Reading and Scripture to pupils varying in ages
from ten to sixteen. Miss Gilbert has also given English lessons
to foreign pupils.
I have pleasure in expressing my satisfaction with the
work Miss Gilbert has done in my school. She is a capable and
interesting teacher, her discipline is good, and she has always been willing to help her colleagues and to further the interests and the
welfare of the pupils.
I can thoroughly recommend her as an efficient English mistress, with the refined accent of an educated gentlewoman and off
high moral character.
Miss Gilbert has resigned her post in my school, as shi
wishes to obtain one in a foreign school.
