In further reference to the letter from the Depart- ment of March the 10th last, and in accordance with the desire expressed by the Governor of Hong Kong in his letter to the Department of February the 13th last, the Committee have pleasure in recommending Miss L.H. Bone to the Secretary of State as a suitable candidate for the second of the present vacancies in the Civil Hospital of Hong Kong.

Miss Bone is at present undergoing training for the C.K.B. examination, which takes place in the end of April next, and she will be prepared to leave England the end of May. I beg

herewith to enclose her application form and copies of testimon-

ials.
