With reference to Er. Lambert's letter of the 16th April last (12843/1913), relative to the case of ''r. R.A.J. Savage, Superintendent of Mails in the Hong Kong Post Office and formerly a Sorter in the London Postal Service, I am directed by the Lords Commissioners of His Majesty's Treasury to request you to inform the Secretary of State for the Colonies that Ir. Savage's pensionable service in the General Post Office commenced on the 8th January 1884, and I am to inquire whether Mr. Harcourt proposes that mis case should be dealt with under No. 2 of the Rules framed under section 7(1) of the Superannuation Act, 1909.
My Lords would be glad to be informed of the conditions on which Mr. Savage was transferred to Hong Kong service.
