In continuat of Kr.Abrahema' letter R. S.3451 -

of the 26th Suytener. I directed by the Secretary :

State for Inll. In Council for forward a copy of a telegram

from the Goverment of India regarding the procedure to

be adopted fr. Ilie to give effent to the agreement of the

14th June 1913 between the United Kingdon and Portugal,

I am do request that, if Sir Edward Grey sees no

objection, the Portuguese Goverment may be invited to

select an Agent in India to conduct all the business

connected with the purchase and ship ent of opium for

Macao. It is proposed that this Agent should be

recognised by the Government of India as the scle ent

for the purposes of Article 7 of the Agreement, and that
