My telegram No.247.

Minister for Foreign Affairs informs me that

War Department will be pleased to transfer one

officer and seventy five mon of prisoners now in

hospital at Teing Tac bo British Control at Hong-

kong. Tar Office hope that a ship may be supplied

by British Authorities to reach Tsing Tao outer

harbour as soon as possible where arrangements

will be made to receive her as soon as date of

arrival is notified. British officials should

accompany ship.

I am repeating this telegram to Governor of

Hongkong and requesting him to take necessary

action.
