Companies without a share capital, and
companies with a share capital.
The inclusion of companies limited by guarantee
in the definition of "China Companies" as suggested
by all those concerned with the matter out here, was
rejected at the Foreign Office, as far as I remember
because the general provisions of the Order in
Council would be inapplicable to the class of com-
panies which we had in view, that class being those
without a share capital, which exist for social and
charitable
