subject of an alleged seditious movement among
the Sikhs at liankow, to Captain barrett and now

The steamer referred to in Er. broadley's
letter of April 20th to Bir William Wilkinson is
Japanese, the 3.3. "Komagata Laru", which sailed
from Shanghai to Vancouver on April 16th with
237 discontented Indians collected in the Par
East on board. After being delayed for lack of
funds at Shimonoseki, the "Komagata karu"
