Pensions 591. Mr. J. Godfrey.
Mr. J. Godfrey of South Cheriton who it
is understood is retired Member of the Hong Kong
Police is at present an inmate of the Wincanton
Union Workhouse Infirmary suffering from asoites
and dropsy due to disense of the liver and kidneys
and is very ill.
He is entitled to a pension and I am
directed to ascertain whether the Pension can be
paid to the Board's Collector and applied towards
the man's maintenance in the Union Infirmary.
I shall be plensed to hear from uou ^8
to this.
