Report on an Ordinance entitled

An Ordinance to amend the Defences (Sketching Prevention)

Ordinance, 1895.

The object of this Ordinance is to supplement and render more effective the Defences (Sketching Prevention) Ordinance, 1895.

Sketch is defined so as to include the negative of a photograph.

The operation of the Principal Ordinance is extended to all naval or military premises or anchorages as defined in section 2(b) of this ordinance.

Attempts to make sketches are also made an offence.

In my opinion this is an Ordinance to which His Excellency the Governor may properly assent in the name of His Majesty and on His behalf.
