We have abstained from pressing you for remittances because we thought that at the outbreak of the War you have done fairly well in sending us a T.T. for £1500 and also sending us a small chaque later on making the total to about £2000.
On the other hand we wish you to know that owing to the unfortunate War we have got into an intolerable position. To begin with Mr. Bune at the outbreak of the War had ready cash securities or on account current about £84000.
