I have the honour to enclose, for the information
of His Majesty's Government, the following documents which were taken by the Censor from a postal cover addressed to Messrs. Bume
& Reif, Hongkong: -
Letter dated 25th September, 1914, from Bune & Reif to
H. Feimann.
Letter dated 25th September, 1914, from Bume & Reif,
Bradford, to Bume & Reif, Hongkong.
Power of Attorney B. Reif to H. Feimann.
I also enclose a copy of the first mentioned letter in which the
significant passages are underlined. Mr. H. Feimann was the
Manager of Messrs. Bume & Reif's local branch.
I am to add that a liquidator of the local branch
of this firm has been appointed under the Alien Enemies (Winding
up) Ordinance, 1914.

Since the above was written the Liquidator has had
an interview with the Attorney General and I attach copy of a
report by the latter on the subject.
I have caused the Liquidator to be informed that no information can be given him concerning the subject of his enquiry.
