Freight booked under this heading and charged for at passenger rates, as quoted in paragraph 55 page 11 of the Joint Coaching and Goods Tariff, shall be divided in the same manner as passenger fares, viz: (a) Through and (b) Joint Sectional above mentioned.

Freight on animals such as pigs, cattle, horses, &c., as quoted in paragraph 56 of the Joint) Coaching and Goods Tariff, shall be apportioned according to mileage with the exception of freight booked from stations south of Beacon Hill Tunnel

to Sheklung or Canton and vice versa which shall be considered Through" and the division shall be in

laid down in paragraph 58, page 11 of Joint Coach-

ing and Goods Tariff.

The minimum charge is 10 cents and this shall be equally divided between the British and Chinese

Sections as all calculations are rounded off to

5 cents.
