"Donation $100,000 has been voted by Legislative Council Prince of Wales Fund. Public subscriptions thereto at present amount to £135,000 donations and 86,000 monthly subscriptions. Please authorise Crow Agents to pay £100,000
remittances of other sums will follow".

I intend to remit these funds to London when
exchange becomes more favourable. At present it is very low.
