My telegram of 15th September following further

notice has been issued by Admiralty:-

All traffic into and out of the River Thames must pass through the Edinburgh Channels or through the Black Deep South of the Knock John and Knob Light- buoys and through the OAZE Deep until further notice. No vessels are to remain under way in the above mentioned Channels inside the Sunk Head Lightbuoy or within a line joining the South Long Send and East Shingles Buoys between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.n. Vessels at anchor within these limits must not exhib- it any lights between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. All other channels are closed to navigation. Repeat this telegram to Weihaiwei.
