will be permitted in telegrams passing between United Kingdom

on one hand and British Possessions and allied or neutral coun-
tries outside European telegraph system on the other hand
5th Edition, Scott's Gode 10th Edition, Western Union Code and
Lieber's Code. Messages in private or any other code not
recognised will be stopped. Neither private supplements nor
numerical equivalents of phrases in published codes admissible.
It should be remembered groups or series of numbers and similar
expressions (for example prices of stocks) are not necessarily
admissible because they appear in code. If the decode would
not have been (? passed by) densors neither will the coded nes-
sage be passed. In every case name of code used must be indicat
ed on form no charge will be made for transmission of name of
