With reference to my despatch No.194 of the 4th June and to your telegram of the 9th July, 1914, I have the honour to submit for the signification of His Majesty's pleasure

the following Ordinance entitled:-

An Ordinance to amend the Hongkong and Shanghai Bank Ordinance, 1866. No.24 of 1914.

The customary report by the Attorney General is enclosed, and I also forward a certificate under my hand as required by Article XXIII of the Royal Instructions dated the 19th January, 1888.
